As a media composer, Kieran spends the majority of his time writing and creating music for other peoples films and projects, so this album has been something Kieran has wanted to do for a while and during the first lockdown across the UK, was just the right time for Kieran to start.
Employing Kieran's craft as a film composer and always writing music to fit a story and a certain mood, What We'll Miss Most is a thematic album based around tales of the sea and coasts, and the feeling of becoming distracted and overwhelmed by every day life, but then returning to a place you feel secure and content.
To reflect the nature of the concept and the mood Kieran wants to capture, this album will feature largely organic instrumentation such as Acoustic Guitar, Intimate String Quartet's and Soft Piano's, with collaborations from performers ranging from vocalists to string soloists.
For the album, Kieran has collaborated with musicians and artists for performances and artwork, particularly on the album title track 'What We'll Miss Most'.
What We'll Miss Most will be released on all streaming platforms on February the 8th, 2021.
