Kieran is a composer, field recordist, lecturer and PhD researcher based in Nottingham.
Whilst performing and touring in various metal and hardcore bands as a guitarist, Kieran also began to experiment with electronic sound and music for film during his undergraduate degree, where he began scoring short films and documentaries.
In 2019, Kieran enrolled on a MA degree, where he specialised in film composition and creative music practices. During this time, Kieran discovered the immersive practice of field recording, and through exploring this fusion of electroacoustic composition, led Kieran to conclude his MA degree with the release of his debut electronic & orchestral album, What We’ll Miss Most (2021).

Kieran's compositional work for film has been broadcast on channels such as BBC Two, S4C and Amazon Prime, in addition to screenings at international festivals across LA, Washington, and Toronto. In August 2025, Kieran released his latest work, Heavens Full Of Static, an album that explored the recent closures and loss of industry for Tata Steel in Port Talbot through a combination of field recordings, experimental composition and electronic textures. Kieran's interest in the use of sound as an investigative tool for documenting and exploring environments also led him to direct the experimental film Sequence Of A Dreaming Machine (2026).
